Terms of Use

Chapter 1 General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to stipulate the conditions and procedures for using all web services and supplementary services provided by Keywords Ninja (hereinafter "Company" or "Service"), as well as the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between the Company and the users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Service" refers to Keywords Ninja (https://keywords.ninja), an information aggregation and monitoring platform provided by the Company, including keyword-based article collection, AI-generated reports, and the supplementary content services described in Article 6.
  2. "Member" refers to a person who agrees to these Terms, registers for the Service, and uses the services provided by the Company.
  3. "Account" refers to the Google account (email, etc.) provided by the Member for identification and service use.
  4. "Content" refers to all information collected, generated, and displayed within the Service, including but not limited to news articles, social media posts, shopping/product information, place (restaurant, cafe, golf club, hot spring, mountain, playground) information, market and cryptocurrency data, texts, photos, and links.
  5. "AI Content" refers to summaries, reports, translations, and other outputs automatically generated by artificial intelligence models within the Service.

Article 3 (Specification and Revision of Terms)

  1. The Company posts the contents of these Terms on the initial screen of the Service or a linked screen so that Members can easily access it. Previous versions of these Terms are archived and remain available on this page.
  2. The Company may revise these Terms within the scope of not violating related laws such as the "Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions" and the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection".
  3. If the Company revises the Terms, the effective date and reasons for revision will be specified and announced on the initial screen of the Service from 7 days before the effective date to the day before the effective date, along with the current Terms.

Chapter 2 Member Registration and Account Management

Article 4 (Member Registration and Establishment of Contract)

  1. The terms of use contract is established when a Member logs in (registers) for the first time via Google SSO (Single Sign-On), which is deemed as agreement to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
  2. In principle, the Company approves the use of the Service for the Member's registration application. However, in the event of abnormal access or using another person's name, approval may be withheld or canceled.
  3. Some parts of the Service (such as the introduction page, public curations, and mini games) may be available without registration; the remaining features require login.

Article 5 (Withdrawal and Loss of Membership)

  1. Members can apply for termination of the user contract (withdrawal) at any time through the settings in the Service or by email request, and the Company will process this immediately in accordance with related laws.
  2. If a Member falls under any of the following reasons, the Company may restrict or suspend membership without prior notice.
    • Infringing on the rights of others (copyrights, etc.) or violating related laws
    • Intentionally disrupting the normal operation of the Service (including abnormal automated access, scraping of the Service, or excessive request volume)

Chapter 3 Provision and Use of Service

Article 6 (Contents of Service)

The Company provides the following services to Members.

  1. Article services: automatic collection of internet news articles and posts based on user-designated keywords (Watchroom), a browsable archive of collected articles (Library), and editor/AI-curated article collections (Curation)
  2. AI reports and summaries: AI Content such as keyword news summaries and reports generated by third-party AI models (e.g. Google Gemini)
  3. Notification services: delivery of keyword news reports via email and, where configured, messaging integrations (e.g. Slack)
  4. Market information: dashboards displaying macroeconomic indicators and cryptocurrency price information
  5. Social trends: aggregation and display of publicly available trending content from social media platforms
  6. Shopping information: aggregation of bestseller/popular product information from online shopping malls, and promotional/affiliate banners
  7. Places information: directories of restaurants, cafes, golf clubs, hot springs, mountains, playgrounds, and similar places, based on third-party data sources (e.g. Google Places)
  8. Mini games: casual browser games
  9. Any other services the Company develops further or provides to Members through partnerships

Article 7 (Paid Services and Pre-registration)

  1. The Service is currently provided free of charge. The Company plans to introduce paid subscription tiers, and the details (features, prices, payment and refund conditions) will be separately announced and consented to before any payment is collected.
  2. The "waitlist" pre-registration available on the pricing page is a non-binding expression of interest. It does not constitute a purchase, does not involve any payment, and does not obligate either the Member or the Company.

Article 8 (Advertisements and Affiliate Links)

  1. The Service may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks (e.g. Google AdSense) on its screens.
  2. The Service contains affiliate links, including links provided through the Coupang Partners program. When a Member makes a purchase through such links, the Company may receive a commission from the relevant partner at no additional cost to the Member. Areas containing affiliate links are marked as advertisements ("AD").
  3. Transactions between a Member and an advertiser or linked shopping mall are concluded solely between those parties; the Company is not a party to, and assumes no responsibility for, such transactions.

Article 9 (Modification and Suspension of Service)

The Company may modify or suspend all or part of the services being provided if there are substantial reasons due to operational or technical needs (including changes in third-party data source availability or API policies), and will notify in advance in this case.

Article 10 (Member Obligations and Copyright Responsibility)

  1. Members must comply with related laws, the provisions of these Terms, usage guidelines, and precautions announced in relation to the Service.
  2. [Important] The copyright of all articles, social media posts, product information, place information, and other contents automatically collected through the Service belongs to the original author and the data source (media, platform, community, etc.).
  3. Members must use this Service only for personal monitoring and informational purposes, and must not engage in secondary processing or commercial distribution of the collected data without the original author's consent (including selling raw crawled data). All civil and criminal legal responsibilities arising from violating this lie entirely with the Member.

Chapter 4 Miscellaneous

Article 11 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Company is exempt from responsibility for providing the Service if it cannot be provided due to natural disasters, server failures, or corresponding force majeure.
  2. The Company is not responsible for any loss of expected profit by the Member using the Service, and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data collected through or displayed in the Service.
  3. The Service simply collects and displays data for the convenience of the Member, and has no obligation to inspect the contents of each article or whether it infringes copyright in advance.
  4. No investment advice: market indicators, stock/economic data, and cryptocurrency prices displayed in the Service are provided for informational purposes only, may be delayed or inaccurate, and do not constitute investment, financial, or trading advice. All investment decisions and their results are the sole responsibility of the Member.
  5. AI Content: AI Content is generated automatically and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccurate statements. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy of AI Content, and Members should verify important information against the original sources.
  6. Place, shopping, and social information is sourced from third parties and may differ from actual conditions (e.g. business hours, prices, availability). Members should confirm details with the relevant business or platform before relying on them.

Article 12 (Dispute Resolution and Competent Court)

Any disputes arising between the Company and the Member in connection with the use of the Service shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and in the event of a dispute, the competent court shall be determined by the Civil Procedure Act.

Addendum

  1. These Terms take effect on July 19, 2026.
  2. The previous Terms (effective March 22, 2026) are replaced by these Terms as of the effective date. Key changes: service name updated to Keywords Ninja; service scope expanded (AI reports, notifications, market/coins, social, shopping, places, mini games); new provisions on paid services and pre-registration (Article 7) and on advertisements and affiliate links (Article 8); expanded disclaimers (Article 11).
